This past Sunday the family and I braved the wind and rain to go to Skamania Lodge for brunch for my mother's birthday. The lodge is hidden in the hills of the Gorge and has a beautiful view once inside the restaurant. I love getting together with my family. We are loud and we are fun. After brunch Stephen and I made a few stops along the Washington side of the river to make it a great day.
To my mother and (new reader) of the blog: I love you and I am so lucky to have such a strong woman in my life. I may be a fireball, but I got that from you! I hope you had a wonderful birthday!
