Today Stephen and I went to Hood River to partake in apple picking. The rain held out for most of the early morning so we were able to stay somewhat dry throughout our fall adventure. It was such a fun experience! The orchard gave us a bucket to fill up with apples we picked. For $15, we got around fifty apples. Bargain! We both had a great time picking and choosing the apples we wanted from the trees. It has been added to our annual tradition list!
We were told that the road we were on was called the "Fruit Loop" consisting of multiple orchards and fruit stands. So our apple picking extravaganza was extended while we picked flowers and picked up delicious baked goods as some of the other stands. We finished up the day in Hood River grabbing lunch at Full Sail Brewery. They have the most delicious brie and turkey sandwich there. It was a perfect fall day!
