I relish any chance I get for some family bonding time. I dont get to see my side of the family too often due to busy schedules and living an hour away. So mother's day was a wonderful time to be with my family and celebrate my loving mother. We got together for a BBQ on one of the hottest days of the year. The food was plenty and absolutely delicious. I ended up bringing strawberry cream cake I made, which was quite a hit. I was so happy to get to spend the day with my mom, celebrating her and being with this loud, crazy family that she has built.
